Volvo official reveal pics of 2013 version of XC90

Volvo, the Sweden based luxury automaker has unveiled the details of the next generation of its iconic and bestselling mid-size luxury crossover SUV, Volvo XC90.

Volvo will be providing the new XC90 in two options- base XC90 3.2 and R-Design with variants ranging between Premier Plus and Platinum trim levels for each of the versions in a bid to provide the customers with adaptable and convenient choices.

The new premium seven-seater SUV will comprise new exterior styling that comprises of sill molding, new body color front and rear bumpers and wheel arches. The new LED daytime running lights and tail lamps is provided as a standard feature and the new Volvo XC90 will be available with two new color choices, Twilight Bronze metallic and Flaminco Red metallic.

The sport variant of the SUV, Volvo XC90 R-Design will possess sport tuned suspension, exclusive R-Design grill, leather seats labeled with R-Design logo and R-design steering wheel.

The 2013 Volvo XC90 will be equipped with a highly advanced 3.2L six-cylinder engine that is capable of outpouring a peak power of 240 hp and a top torque of 236 lb. ft. In addition, six-speed “Geartronic” automatic transmission is offered as a standard attribute while the all-wheel drive with Instant Traction feature is optional.

Volvo XC90 has been upgraded with latest safety features Dynamic Stability, Roll Stability Control (RSC), Inflatable Curtains, Side Impact Protection System (SIPS) paired with the side airbags to ensure that the premium feel of brand’s cars are in tandem with the safety priority that is highly valued by the automaker.
