Kolkata: Astrologer Held For Molesting Woman
An astrologer was arrested on charges of molestation following a complaint of a lady, who had gone to him on the promises that he would be able to make her son walk, police in Kolkata said on Friday.
“The person who practices astrology was arrested after we received a complaint from a woman who alleged that he attempted to molest her. It is a bailable offense and we have forwarded him to a court,” Deputy Commissioner South-West Subrata Mitra said.
The lady, in her 30s, met the astrologer for the first time in January. He assured her that he could make the child walk and asked her to come later. she went to his office in Chittagong Avenue where the believed molestation took place.
