Maharashtra Budget to be presented on March 26

 Mumbai: The Maharashtra Budget for 2012-13 will be presented on March 26. The six-week-long budget session of the State Legislature will start from March 15.

The decision was taken at the Buisness Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting here today, which will next meet on March 29.

Four new bills and 16 pending ones will be released for passage during the session. The Maharashtra Groundwater (Development and Management) Bill is among the new charges that is likely to be introduced. The anti-superstition bill is also likely to come up during the budget session.
