Bihar govt as Mauritius to open Medical college
Patna: The Nitish Kumar govt has offered the Mauritius govt a proposal to set up a medical college hospital at Mairwa in Siwan district, according to state Health minister Ashwani Kumar Choubey.
Choubey said today that he had handed over a former letter in this respect to Mauritius Art and Culture minister Mookhesswar Choonee during the three-day Global Bihar summit on shifting Bihar that worked out here on Sunday.
Choubey said that it has also been proposed to set the hospital in the name of former India president Rajendra Prasad and Seewoo Sagur Ram Ghoolam, known as the father of the nation of Mauritius.
We have also written letter to Mauritius prime minister to give his agreement for setting up the medical college hospital proposed at Mairwa in Siwan, Choubey said.
