The Bollywood actor Vindu Dara Singh and Meiyappan are close friend to each other and the police claim conversation of Vindu and Meiyappan exist.

Earlier, Vindoo Dara Singh was arrested on Tuesday for his alleged role in spot-fixing in IPL, confessed to being in touch with a relative of CSK owner.

The call details of Vindoo showed that he made several phone calls to the CSK owner. It was learnt that Vindoo Dara Singh had an easy enters to CSK VIP box during their IPL matches.

The Indian film and television actor Vindu Dara Singh has been arrested by Mumbai police on Today in the connection with the Spot-fixing in the ongoing IPL 6.

It was the first Bollywood link has been busted in the IPL spot-fixing scandal. Vindu is the son of Dara Singh and is also a winner of Bigg Boss season 3.

Bookie Ramesh Vyas, who was arrested a few days back was named Vindu Dara Singh during interrogation.

Ramesh Vyas is being questioned by the Mumbai Crime Branch at the moment. During IPL 6, he has been spotted with MS Dhoni’s wife Sakhshi.

According to TV sources, the cops have evidence linking Vindu to bookies. They have also said that Vindu was in constant touch with bookies. He was picked up late last evening.

The court, however, has BCCI’s anti-corruption unit to submit its report within two weeks of the case.

A bench of justices Deepak Misra and B S Chauhan dismissed the PIL which also wanted setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the match fixing issues and other alleged irregularities in the IPL.

The petition by Lucknow resident Sudarsh Awasthi had made all IPL franchises and BCCI party in the case along with the Centre.

“There are many irregularities in the IPL beginning from auction of players. Black money and money from anti-social elements are involved in the IPL which needs to be probed,” the petition submitted.

It demand a stay on remaining 4 matches including final match of the IPL till the probe is completed.

Baburao Yadav had allegedly introduced Ajit Chandila to bookie Sunil Bhatia, who is already arrested.

Yadav, who was arrested from Delhi on Monday and questioned for his links with arrest player Ajit Chandila.

Ajit Chandila, who was arrested on May 16 along with tow other cricketers- S Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan – over allegations of spot-fixing.

So far, 18 people have been arrested in this case. Including three IPL players, Four former players and 11 bookies and their accomplices.

The Police said they will demand to extend custody of arrested three players S Sreesanth, Chandeela and Ankit Chavan. Three players and all bookies appeared in court on Today.

When Sreesanth was accosted by police for alleged spot fixing, he started shouting and claimed he had close connections with the Kerala and Maharashtra chief ministers.

According to the source, “When a police officer showed him his identity card, initially he kept silent. But suddenly he started shouting and said that he knew the chief ministers of Maharashtra ad Kerala. How can they arrest him, he demanded”.

Sreesanth had also given his mobile phone to the police officers and asking them to call the chief ministers.

Sreesanth, who currently is in the custody of Delhi Police Special cell in connection with the spot fixing. His two Rajasthan Royals teammates Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila and 12 bookies have also been arrested by the Delhi Police.
