Raipur: After 16 days Chhattisgarh lockdown ends today in many districts of the state and now the government has decided not to extend this further, and from tomorrow Chhattisgarh lockdown will end today.
Now the vegetable shops will open after the lockdown in Chhattisgarh ends today and from tomorrow morning 6 AM to 12 PM after this all the other shops such as Grocery store, salon, Electrical, electronic and other Shops will open after this till evening at 6 PM. After this time, no individual can openly run their shops; otherwise, strict actions will be taken against him by the police.
In the current situation daily, around 200 plus patients are infected from this disease is coming out, which will make the total cases found in Chhattisgarh at the end of August will reach up to 10 thousand.
Although public transport will be available from 7 August onwards, people still have to follow all the guidelines mentioned by the state government, such as maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, and washing hands frequently.
The state government has now given the responsibility to the district collector to decide whether they want to open all the shops after 6 August or not. The collector will take the actions keeping in mind the daily cases being found in his district. And if it’s not safe to open now, then the region will stay under lockdown.
On Wednesday at Health Minister TS Singhdev house, nine people were found infected from the virus in Raipur. Yesterday 205 affected people were found in Chhattisgarh. Now the total number of cases has gone up to 10407.
The sight of relief is that among these many people 7871 people have been already cured from these diseases, so the recovery rate is quite better in Chhattisgarh due to the proper health care facility provided by the government.
All the Grocery, Electrical, General, Jewelry, Footwear, Electronics, Mobiles, Clothes, hardware, automobiles shops will open from 7 August after 12 PM to 6 PM.
Daily need items such as Milk, fruits and vegetable shops will open daily in the morning from 6 AM to 12 PM. All Government offices will also open from Friday.
Two different time slots are allocated to different types of shops as the daily needs items will be available during morning and rest shops will open after the first slot is over hence this will prevent the excess rush in the market. Up to some extent, it might also help in controlling the spread of the disease.
