Raipur. In the time of pandemic situation, due to Rakshabandhan on 3rd August, the government had permitted to open the market. But due to coronavirus, the impact on the occasion of Rakshabandhan can be seen in the market. The market was open till noon, but the charm of the market was dull, the shop where the crowd emerged found maintaining the social distancing.
Maybe this was the first time experience for this generation to celebrate any festival like this, although people preferred to remain quarantine which is much needed in this time of COVID-19. Sweet shops did not see the same crowd as before; because of coronavirus impact on Rakshabandhan roads were found empty after 12 o’clock noon.
However, in politics, we see many up’s and down’s but a pleasant gesture from the Governor of Chhattisgarh Hon’ble Anusuiya Uikey delivered a message about how festivals can decrease the sour in the relationship. The Governor sent a Rakhi to the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and in return, she received a saree with a letter of CM Bhupesh Baghel as a goodwill gesture.
With this pleasant gesture, the friction between CM and the Governor came to an end, in the letter the CM addressed Ms Anusuiya Uikey that he will try his utmost to rule the government with full responsibility, truth, and integrity. He also wrote that he promise that law and order will remain maintained as on priority basis.

Supreme C-o-u-r-t suggested releasing the prisoners on parole
In the past, the Supreme C-o-u-r-t also discussed the issue about the parole of prisoners by quoting the current pandemic situation. Those prisoners who all are about to complete their imprisonment are suggested to discharge on parole after getting the news of the chain reaction of coronavirus in j-a-i-l from different parts of the country.
Recently in Raipur Central jail, around sixty prisoners were found positive, a few days before an 85 years old prisoner found on the last stage. The danger of spreading infection in jail is still a matter of concern, because Jailer, co-workers along with 90 prisoners were found positive few days back in Raipur.
