Raipur. Lockdown phase-2 will be executed in Chhattisgarh with more strict guidelines than before from today. The officials of the state decided that including Raipur, four more cities will have to undergo through the lockdown till 28 July. According to the report, it is a seven-day partial lockdown whose duration further be increased.
Police have instructed the people that this time strict action will be taken against the person who breaks the rule without any genuine reason. Health Minister of Chhattisgarh TS Singhdev says that according to the circumstances, a decision can be taken to increase the lockdown if the COVID-19 cases increase further to ensure the complete safety of all the citizens in Chattisgarh.
Till today 5731 COVID-19 Positive cases have been detected in the Chhattisgarh, out of which 1314 cases came from the capital city Raipur alone. Today the police department conducted Flag March on the Raipur roads to convey the message that these times strict actions will be taken according to the law, and people must remain at their home.
Since yesterday Raipur, Birgoan, Balaudabazar are under complete lockdown, from 22 July, and today from midnight Korba, Bilaspur, Durg will also be under lockdown for seven days. CM Bhupesh Baghel will monitor all the proceedings. He delivered the messages to all the ministers and authorities to ensure that the instruction and lockdown till 28 July must be obeyed strictly.
Rajnandgaon will also have a lockdown till 29 July. Borders of Raipur and Birgoan municipal corporations are entirely sealed so that no one can move out of the city. There is a complete restriction on stepping out from the house after 10 AM until there is an emergency. Only Health Department operators will have the access to move out after 10 AM rest everyone will remain at their home.
